Ontology-Based Architectural Knowledge Representation: Structural Elements Module
نویسندگان
چکیده
In the last years, Architectural Knowledge (AK) has emerged as a discipline for making explicit architects’ knowledge and architectural decision-making processes. As a consolidated formalism for the representation of conceptual knowledge, ontologies have already been proposed for AK representation. Aligning with this trend, we are currently developing an ontology for AK representation named Arteon. The ontology is articulated in four modules and in this paper we focus on one of them, the structural module, that defines the elements necessary to build a software architecture. Therefore, we clarify the concepts of architectural view, framework and element, show their relationships, its accurate definition is required to drive architectural design in a prescribed way.

Automatic Hashtag Recommendation in Social Networking and Microblogging Platforms Using a Knowledge-Intensive Content-based Approach
In social networking/microblogging environments, #tag is often used for categorizing messages and marking their key points. Also, since some social networks such as twitter apply restrictions on the number of characters in messages, #tags can serve as a useful tool for helping users express their messages. In this paper, a new knowledge-intensive content-based #tag recommendation system is intr...
متن کاملModelling Functional Requirements in Spatial Design
We demonstrate the manner in which high-level design requirements, e.g., as they correspond to the commonsensical conceptualisation of expert designers, may be formally specified within practical information systems, wherein heterogeneous perspectives and conceptual commitments are needed. Focussing on semantics, modularity and consistency, we argue that our formalisation serves as a synergisti...
متن کاملLanguages and Ontologies to Structure and Access Web Knowledge
In this paper, we discuss a set of features desirable for a general tool aimed at helping individuals (e.g. researchers, users of a product) or small communities (e.g. employees of a firm, members of a consumer group) produce, organize, share, access and annotate knowledge on the Internet or intranets. By knowledge we mean a more or less detailed semantic network of concepts, ideas, sentences, ...
متن کاملCombining three Ways of Conveying Knowledge: Modularization of Domain, Terminological, and Linguistic Knowledge in Ontologies
Recently, an overall trend towards increasing complexity of ontologies could be observed, not only in terms of domain modeling, where the complexity should correspond to the information to be modeled, but also as regards the addition of further information, which could be modeled as external resources to the domain model and linked to its relevant elements. This concerns the addition of termino...
متن کاملModular Ontological Warehouse for Adaptative Information Search
With the growth rate of information repositories, most of the current research effort are focusing on improving the accuracy in searching and managing information (especially text data), because of lacking of adaptive knowledge representation to the information content of these systems. Besides, domain knowledge is evolving and consequently, ontologies should be automatically built and extended...
